Prepping for Immunity 2026

Immunity is built not boosted.

Infact, immunity not only improves resilience against the infection but also against contracting any health related issues. And how you build on it especially around winter month will pretty much set the bar of immunity you will have for the entire next year

Immunity is majorly decided by 3 factors

    1. Genetics: A lot of it comes from your genes. This is inbuilt and hence correcting is a challenge however, the impact can be reduced by correcting the other two causes.
    2. Environment: Seasonal triggers, infections due to antigens are some causes that are unavoidable. However, they are temporary and taking correct measures can help in
    3. Food Lifestyle and Habits: The kind of life that you often throw you off track with your own homeostasis. This means the process of imbalance is gradual but getting back to the rhythm can still be sooner.

How aligned these three systems of the body are will help in the overall resilience!!

Pretty much like a bonfire. The air (respiration) regulates the fire (digestive fire) based on the quality of wood (nervous system)
  • Digestive: You are not what you eat but what you digest. The digestion, absorption and elimination is how the 7 dhatus are nourished. Absence of agni can prevent this uptake of nutrients to build dhatus resulting in deterioration of existing dhatus.
  • Respiratory: The breathwork is the regulator between the outside and inside body through the nervous system. And any passage blocks there lead to energy blocks leading to low immunity
  • Nervous System: When these three are functioning optimally is when the immunity is said to be working at its full potential.

Based on the Season and the Body there are two major times when you contract from a fever/ flu

1.Seasonal change/ transitions:

The Body works best when in homeostasis. As the season changes, the body and the season are far from homeostasis and hence, the food and routine have to be aligned with the season, for example change in season from rainy season to winters.

2.When the 3 systems of the body are not working optimally:

Excessive Stress, Irregular Sleep Cycle, Poor Respiratory Health, Weak Digestion, Poor Elimination, High Inflammation are some of the many reasons that can lead to poor Immunity. Identifying the weak link and addressing it is the only way to be!!
